Any d’Avray Partners with Nursing Teams

Since 1994, the Any d’Avray Nursing Award rewards, encourages and supports useful and innovative nursing projects whose goal is to improve quality of life for those with cancer by offering financial and other necessary support.

In 2016, the Canadian branch of the French hair piece creator will sponsor the second Nursing Award. Any d’Avray Diffusion invites all those working in cancer treatment in Quebec to spread the word about the award to colleagues involved in projects that make a difference for their patients.

Who can participate to the Any d’Avray Nursing Award?

All those working in cancer treatment—an individual nurse or a team (the team may be multidisciplinary)—in a public or private general hospital are eligible for the award. The project lead must be a nurse.

Expert Jury

Health care managers, nurses, and doctors will evaluate nominated projects based on various selection criteria (i.e., a clear link to the issues surrounding the overall care of cancer patients , the innovative or sustainable nature of the project, the project’s technical and financial viability, the quality of the team and the elements submitted).

The winner, in the name of his or her team, will receive an endowment of $5,000.
